Every day, TEACHER CARLITA STAFF is improving our ACTIVE ENGLISH TEACHING METHOD to stimulate your English learning process with DYNAMIC, EASY AND FUNNY ENGLISH LESSONS. In order to be possible this method they are supported with the following elements:

2. - The accepted students are selected and located in groups according to the level of knowledge of their members. This is defined by means of interviews which determine the advanced level of learning of each member of the formed group, at this way,   every student feels stimulated   and located in the adequate level.
3. - The students are part of the family of TEACHER CARLITA and for that reason; each one of them must be a successful project that manages the goal to learn English. We offer special attention and pursuit of each student by means of our special system of evaluation applied in TEACHER CARLITA.

THE STUDENTS OF GROUP CLASSES AND THE ONES WHO WANTS INDIVIDUAL LESSONS MUST ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING GIVEN CONDITIONS:

• Prices vary depending on number of students per class and may vary or change depending on the economy of the country and/or world.
• There is a maximum of 8 students per course.
•      Interviews have to be scheduled in advance,  from 3.00 pm to 5:30 pm  Monday -Friday (Please Previously call to say the time you will come).
•    Students are accepted after being interviewed. We consider their desire to study English as a very important part of the program. If a student does not have the availability or determination to assist class, we will wait for them in another moment when they will be ready.
•  We also offer “Homeworkshop” where we provide students with the opportunity to help them out with their English homework for school or in preparation for an exam.
• Candy shop purchases must be made at the time of monthly payments by prepaying cash or pay-per-use (Minimum prepayment of Bs. F 100)
• We give students a chance to earn Teacher Carlita’s pounds through activities in class. TCPs are used to buy things in “My English Lesson store”.  Parents will be asked to make a (little gifts ) contribution to the store in order to offer these items to students through their TCPs.
• We don’t require students to buy books, instead, annual fees will be charged for library and media library use throughout the year.
• We are a family institute. We take students from any generation! Starting with babies to grandparents, anybody can learn English. We call everyone by their nickname and want them to feel at home.
• We reserve the right to admit students into the institute.
• Students are subject to expulsion depending on conduct, misbehavior, etc.
• Yellow cards are given as warnings for misconduct, bad behavior, etc. Two yellow cards constitute a red one. Red cards are given for extreme bad behavior and students will be expelled after 3 red cards.
• Students who are falling behind in class must agree to do one of two things: Take recovery/individual classes to catch up with the rest of the class (extra- payment), or move to a lower level class with another group, pending availability of the group and change of schedule.
• Payments have to be made the first 7 days of the month. Monthly fees will be charged if payment is late. Payments can be made by bank transfers, cash, cash bank deposits.  Administration of Teacher Carlita has a New  and only one account where you can do your payments. The information is:

•  Students and parents/guardians must obey the Street rules. They are subject to warnings and/or expulsion if these rules are not followed.
•  Car stickers control must be paid and kept visibly displayed at all times.
• Carlita Family’s pets are part of the family. We are not responsible for damages or injuries that occur from provoking them in any way.

THE STUDENTS   OF GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL LESSONS MUST ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING RULES:

1)  Payments must be made before the first class of each month for the whole month (according to the number of hours agreed on while signing up). If you have not paid, the teacher will not be able to teach the class since he or she will not be announced that there is a scheduled class.
2)      The classes which the student misses are NOT recoverable nor can they be rescheduled (even with previous announcements) which means the money for the class will be lost.
3)       If the student has plans to travel on a date that will not allow them to come to class, they must still pay for them at the beginning of the month to ensure the schedule will always be reserved for them until the end of the course. If this is not done, the student is subject to adapting to a new schedule considering the institute’s time availability.
4)The student’s attendance and punctuality (at the beginning and end of the class) are very important to reach the objective proposed. If this is not done, it would make it difficult to reach the course’s goal.
5)      For best results, the student must commit to “practicing 30 minutes of English at home for each hour of class”. If this is not done, planned objectives for the class may be delayed. It is very important to practice at home to reach the stated goal.
6)      Journals must be handed in each Monday or on the first class of each week. Repetitions must be made before the next journal hand-in.
7)      Each class starts off with a review from the previous class that must be explained by the student in his or her own words with their notebooks closed. Index cards are acceptable to make references. With this in mind, we say: Each class must be reviewed individually at home.
8)      Each certain amount of time, there will be a 15 minute test to evaluate the comprehension of new classes. Written or oral, these may be done without warning. If students keep up with the work, these tests should not be difficult.
9)      Students have monthly speeches. Rules for this must be followed such as: Time, content and visual aid. Power Point presentations are optional and the institute’s computers and projectors are available.
10)   If the Teacher cannot make one of the classes for an extraordinary reason, your money for that class will be refunded and you will know ahead of time to plan accordingly.
11)   For small groups that are treated as individual lessons: The absence of the entire group does not imply a change in the class schedule for the group due to the fact that the schedules have been arranged by days and times for each group.

Our objective is to obtain fast and efficient results. We will do our job, but we need students who are committed to their goals.  If you consider that perhaps now you have a few obstacles that will get in the way of the best attendance and determination in your English classes, we encourage you to come back when you have better availability so we can ensure the best results and our best service

 FOR THE STUDENTS   OF GROUP LESSONS:  

• For each class missed, the student must catch up in their own time, either through a recovery class request before his or her next class (Fridays are able for recovering lessons and leveling) or in their own time through their classmates or by themselves.
• The recovery class requires an additional cost which must be prepaid before the class. The recovery class also requires an appointment that has to be made with advance planning. The charge for this class is not included in the monthly payment. The class can be recovered along with other students (Max. 3 people/hour) that have also missed class from the same level as long as it’s the same class that they all missed, or if you prefer it could be only individual.
• The absence of the entire group does not imply a change in the class schedule for the group due to the fact that the schedules have been arranged by days and times for each group.
• Groups must be formed by at least 5 students. If the class does not reach this number, the students forming the class will balance out the difference in price.
